Together Alone is a concept that resonated with me deeply in multiple ways over several months.
To me, it is about the contradictions of personal relationships (lovers, family, and friends) where people can be so connected and strongly bound together and yet at the same time can feel so incredibly separate and alone.
I have felt this through conflict, unspoken and unfulfilled needs, miscommunication, misunderstandings, insecurities, emotional instability, or quite simply just the completely different ways people inherently perceive things.
How is it we are so bound together yet we allow ourselves to suffer - often in silence - all alone?
